Find your Marush

Four branches around Patong and one in Kamala — by the beach, near the mosque, off Bangla Road and beside Baan Laimai. Each with its own mood, all with the same kitchen soul.

Our story

From Beirut, with fire and saffron

Marush began as one kitchen in Patong with a simple conviction: that the food of the Levant — slow-simmered, charcoal-kissed, generous by nature — belongs at the heart of every gathering. The name over the door is written in Arabic first, because that is where the recipes come from: grandmothers’ hummus beaten silky by hand, kibbeh shaped at dawn, lamb marinated overnight in seven spices.

Today five Marush houses glow across Phuket’s west coast — from a terrace where long-tail boats drift past your table, to a neon-lit courtyard where an oud player weaves through the evening. Every branch is halal, every flatbread is baked to order, and every guest is greeted the same way: ahlan wa sahlan — you are family here.

The dream

A love letter written in spice

In the hands of a ten-year-old Syrian boy lived an ancient secret — recipes whispered by the mountain winds and perfected by generations. From stone kitchens overlooking the valleys of Damascus to the bustling streets of Phuket, that child’s dream beats on today, where golden saffron meets the tropical breeze. Marush is not merely a restaurant; it is a bridge between worlds — a love letter written in spice.

The Marush evening

Neon, oud strings and sea air

Some nights call for a candlelit table by an open window; others for the hum of Bangla’s lights, live oud music and shisha smoke curling into the dark. Marush keeps a seat for both moods — and for the families, night owls and beach wanderers in between.
